Position title:
Configuration Technician

Job Functions:
|
|
|
|
 |
Set up new computer software and hardware per customer specifications.
|
|
Configure computer hardware and software per work order specifications.
|
|
Test installation of software, hardware, and troubleshooting as necessary.
|
|
Conduct weekly inventory count of equipment.
|
|
Assists support specialist with troubleshooting customer questions.
|
|
Unload merchandise from trucks.
|
|
Prepare computer packages to ship; occasionally using injection foam for packing.
|
|
Assist with shipping duties as required.
|
|
Perform miscellaneous duties as directed.
|
|
Possibility of Travel with X-Pert™ Paint Mixing Systems, Inc.
|
|
|
|
|
Position Qualifications:
|
|
|
|
|
Formal training in computers from vocational school or college highly preffered.
|
|
Knowledge of a variety of personal computers, software packages, and related hardware/software.
|
|
Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic PC hardware maintenance.
|
|
|
|
|
Physical Requirements:
|
|
|
|
|
Ability to exert up to 70 pounds of force to lift and move materials.
|
|
Ability to stoop, crouch, reach, lift, walk and grasp in order to move materials for configuration and shipping purposes.
|
|
|
|
|
